Limousine Rental Tips
Think about all the details of your limo experience.
Do you have a preferred route for your limousine ride? What stops would you like to make? Do you need many pickups or just one? How many passengers will be riding in your limousine? Do you need ice or stemware? Providing these details to your chosen limousine service provider will help them meet your needs - for the right price.
Getting the right Limousine
Getting the right limo often depends on the type of occasion, number of people, number of hours you'll need and how far you're going. For some special occasions, like a birthday bash, bachelorette party, graduation party, concert, Christmas party, sporting events or prom, a Yukon SUV limo could be the best option, and for other events, like a business trip, wine tour, anniversary or casino tour a classic Lincoln limousine would suit the most. Many limo services specialize in certain events to deliver the best possible experience. Limousine operators often offer special limousine rates for popular events like weddings, anniversaries, concerts, and wine tours. The more details you can provide, the better the value and service you'll receive.
Reserve early - especially for big events!
Start searching well before you need your limousine. For wedding limos, some people book 3-6 months in advance. Other events, like proms, bachelorette parties, anniversaries, wine tours, casino tours, birthdays, concerts, holiday light tours and sporting events are best to book a limo a few months in advance. In general, it is best to start looking 3-4 months before your event. After you've selected the right limo service provider, get confirmation in writing on a service agreement. For special occasions, it's generally a good idea to contact your limousine service a week before the event, just to ensure everything is confirmed
Compare apples to apples
Always make sure you are checking prices and comparing. Each limousine company will generally have their own unique pricing policies. Most St Louis limousine services offer price by the hour, with hourly minimums but pay attention to "add-ons" like fuel surcharges or other service fees not included in the base price. Elite Limousine Service St. Louis NEVER charges for fuel, we feel that would be the same as your favorite restaurant charging you for the electricity. FYI, it is customary for limo services to add the chauffeurs gratuity to the bill 18-20% of the base price. Elite Limousine feels this is wrong, in that you have not had the service yet. We only add the US standard of 15% gratuity for 4hr services or more for your chauffeur. If you feel your Chauffeur performed your limousine service exceptionally well you always have the option of tipping more. Be sure you get the full price up front when weighing your options.
